I don’t know about you, but here in the AxlsCloset office we’re all feeling a little bit of spring fever. But here in Utah the weather can be a little unpredictable. Preparing for the day means layers of clothing. You almost never know what to expect and it’s necessary to bring along clothes that can shield you from a random blizzard or that you can shed to enjoy a warm, sunny day in the valley. So as we dream about far away beaches and palm trees, we’ll take some time to be realistic about preparing for spring.
We wanted to share some of our favorite spring discoveries with you to prepare you and your kids for the weather that lays head. An adorable kids rain jacket that will keep your kid dry and happy is essential. When we discovered little IMBUE, we had to share them with you. Now a part of our Axl’s Market, these water repellent jackets come in bright, vibrant colors and are perfect for the spring.

Our go-to’s for spring, also include this favorite among us at the office. The Girls Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket offers the Patagonia quality you trust with great H2No waterproofing with features such as a built in visor to shield rain and reduce glare. Also check out The North Face Tailout Rain Jacket for babies…another great way to protect your kid from the rain.
As the weather starts to warm up, a light layer is all your kid needs sometimes. A great mid-weight piece for spring is the Patagonia Synchilla Cardigan for babies. Soft, quick drying and generously sized for easy layering.

Spring also means you can finally venture outside to play, enjoying the sunshine and activity it brings. Keep your kid mobile and happy with a longboard skateboard from GoldCoast. A local Salt Lake City, and California, based company, GoldCoast longboard skateboards offer kids a great way to get outside and enjoy the spring air.

For those first days back at the park, prepare with one of Eco Vessel’s line of innovative BPA free water bottles and lunchboxes. We’ve been digging on the cool features like the Eco Vessel Tea Strainer for boulder bottles and their line of insulated stainless steel water bottles.
So, come rain, shine or snow, prepare yourself for the spring adventures that lay ahead.
